M&M is currently seeking candidates for the following positions:
Inventory Control/Cost Accounting Manager Location: Fort Worth, TX 76106
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Valuation and physical control of raw materials, work in progress and finished goods inventory for multiple branch locations
- Maintain accurate standard costs of over 20,000 SKU's
- Monthly valuation of inventory and preparation of month-end closing journal entries based on inventory transactions
- Plan and manage year-end physical inventory process for multiple branch locations, including working with external auditors
- Year-end valuation of inventory, new standard cost revisions, lower of cost of market analysis
- Prepare and analyze quarterly and annual labor and overhead rates of production operations
- Work closely with inventory control staff to ensure proper recording of inventory movement on a daily basis
REQUIREMENTS
- 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment in the capacity of inventory control or cost accounting manager
- Ablility to analyze cost methods and structure of raw materials, labor and overhead costs
- Experience in standard cost environment
- Advanced Excel skills
- Extensive experience with an ERP system
EDUCATION
Estimator Location: Fort Worth, TX 76107, Garland 75042, Houston 77040
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process estimates in an accurate and timely manner
- Communicate with customers in regards to bid deadlines, bid requirements, customer specific requirements, and specification interpretation
- Communicate with customers as needed to gather information needed to provide a quality estimate
- Learn the Quote Database System to become proficient in inputting all data as required to process a thorough proposal for the customer
- Follow estimating policy as directed by estimation manager
- Continually strive to increase your abilities and improve the estimating process
- Assist the estimating team, as needed, in plan and specification interpretation
- Will report to the Estimation Manager
REQUIREMENTS
- SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or other drafting software
- Prior experience in perfoming detailed estimates within the HVAC industry
- Good skills in interpreting all bid documents (plans, specifications, addendums,etc)
- Familiarity with estimating tools and techniques
- Knowledge of basic duct construction methods
- Effective Communication skills in dealing with team members and customers
- Prior experience with Quote Express software will be beneficial
- Willing to work in fast paced environment with constant deadlines
- Previous HVAC field experience would be beneficial but not required
EDUCATION
- HS or GED
- Some college preferred
